Keesler Presents Cooper With Outstanding Service Award

Keesler Federal Credit Union presented the General Gary Cooper Outstanding Service Award to the U.S. Army Reserve’s Major General Janet Cobb. Keesler said Cooper “is a trailblazer, a leader and a dedicated public servant. With a remarkable 42-year career in the U.S. Army, she broke barriers as the first female general officer from the University of Alabama and served in leadership roles around the globe, from the Middle East to Europe to Fort Buchanan, Puerto Rico. Even in retirement, her service continued through her leadership at the USS ALABAMA Battleship Memorial Park and her commitment to preserving military history and honoring those who served.”
