Local Financial Advisors Open New Office In Gulf Shores

Edward Jones recently opened a new office for financial advisors Bob McDowell and Dec McClelland at 2001 West First Street in Gulf Shores. The new building houses both McDowell, McClelland and their respective staff. McDowell, who served the U.S. Army for 30 years as a Green Beret, strives to “add value to others by leading [his] clients through one of the most important aspects of their lives, their finances,” Edward Jones said. He attributes his desire and ability to serve to his “teamwork mentality, positive outlook and critical thinking skills” to aid his commitment to educate and inform his clients. He also sits on both the South Baldwin Chamber and Coastal Alabama Business Chamber boards. A former sportscaster, McClelland attributes the importance of numbers in understanding how to stay on track for someone’s financial goals. Edward Jones added that McClelland strives to “mentor and coach [his] clients through life-changing events” and guides them in making “confident investment decisions.” McClelland serves as a board member for the Gulf Coast Athletic Club and volunteers with the Gulf Shores Lions Club.
