New Horizons Earns Savings Excellence Award

Mobile-basedNew Horizons Credit Union has earned a Military Saves Designation of Savings Excellence award for efforts in financial education stressing the importance of saving during National Military Saves Week. This honor is reserved for financial institutions that succeed in getting people to open or add to wealth-building accounts and pledge to save. To further the savings initiative, New Horizons partners with GreenPath Financial Wellness to offer free budgeting resources, webinars and debt-management tools to help develop savings goals and build credit. New Horizons also incorporated consistent social media savings messages during the campaign period to encourage taking the pledge to save. Plus, New Horizons Credit Union offers a Horizons Heroes Account, which offers perks toward saving money, to active military and all first responders.
