PenAir Awards Scholarships To Local Students

PenAir Credit Union (PenAir) has announced six scholarships to seniors attending Northwest Florida and South Alabama schools. The scholarships, $10,000 each, are awarded to student members based on their academic performance and passion for helping others. Of them, three are students at Mobile County or Baldwin County schools: Anna Rutledge (Saraland High School in Saraland), Claudia Camacho (Foley High School in Foley) and Kayna Horace (Baldwin County High School in Bay Minette and Baldwin Preparatory Academy in Loxley). The PenAir Scholarship Program helps student members who have a passion for helping others pursue postsecondary education toward an undergraduate or associate degree or trade certification. Each student will receive up to $1,250 per semester from PenAir to put toward tuition, fees and supplies to attend school.
