PNC Becomes Official Bank Of PCP, Azalea Trail Run

The Port City Pacers (PCP) have announced that PNC Bank will become the presenting sponsor of the Azalea Trail Run as part of a multiyear sponsorship agreement. PNC also will become the official bank of the Mobile-based club and serve as a supporting sponsor for all PCP races throughout the year. Since the first Azalea Trail Run in 1978, the event has continued to welcome runners, walkers and wheelchair athletes annually. The 47th iteration will take place on the morning of March 22. All three running/walking events—the 10K, 5K and 2K fun run—will start and finish near Mardi Gras Park in Downtown Mobile. “We are grateful for the support of PNC Bank for the annual slate of Port City Pacers races, especially the Azalea Trail Run,” said Peggy Olive, Azalea Trail Run 2025 race director. “This sponsorship will help us continue our mission to promote good health and fitness through running and walking activities, while providing community friendly running/walking events….”
