Servisfirst Hires Officers
ServisFirst Bank, a regional bank headquartered in Birmingham, with locations in Mobile and Baldwin counties, has announced that Kirk Pressley has been appointed successor to the role of chief financial officer (CFO). He will succeed William “Bud” Foshee in February 2024. Pressley joined ServisFirst Bancshares in July and is the former CFO of BBVA Compass Bancshares. He is a graduate of Auburn University with a BS in business administration and accounting and has spent his 35-year career in the Birmingham and Houston areas. Pressley started his career as an external auditor focused on financial institutions for two large international public accounting firms. ServisFirst anticipates a seamless CFO transition, considering Pressley’s extensive experience in larger organizations. He has also worked with ServisFirst officers.Additionally, Michael Lindsey has been named chief information and operations officer. With three decades of experience in financial services, Lindsey spent 25-plus years at BancorpSouth, where he held numerous operational positions. Most recently, Lindsey has been with Equipro Holdings, LLC, a privately held firm dedicated to building companies in Oxford, Mississippi, since 2015. During this time, he held prominent positions as president of US Consumer Capital, LLC, and served as chief operating officer for Action Auto, LLC. He began his banking career with the Bank of Mississippi, which later changed its name to BancorpSouth when it expanded outside the state. Lindsey received his BS in finance from the University of Mississippi and his MBA from the University of Memphis.
