United Bank Donates Van To Library

United Bank recently donated a 2013 Ford Transit Connect to the Baldwin County Library Cooperative, Inc. to replace an aging vehicle with more than 300,000 miles, The Atmore Advance reported. The cooperative, based in Robertsdale, will use it to transport books and interlibrary mail and materials between 14 locations in Baldwin County. The courier service operates five days a week and travels 125 miles a day. Though headquartered in Atmore, Alabama, United Bank has several local branches in Bay Minette, Daphne, Spanish Fort, Foley, Loxley, Semmes, Silverhill and Summerdale.
