Alabamaworks! Announces Conference

AlabamaWorks! is holding its 2021 virtual conference on September 21-22. Intended to bring together workforce partners across the state to discuss innovative ways to advance the workforce in the post-pandemic era, it will feature speakers including Josh Davies, CEO of the Center for Work Ethic Development; Dr. Richard Pimentel, disability advocate and a driving force behind the Americans with Disabilities Act; and Gov. Kay Ivey. Intended for thought leaders, educators, workforce developers, human resources professionals, chambers of commerce, nonprofit agencies and others, the event will also offer breakout sessions covering current workforce policy initiatives, innovative solutions and best practices. Attendance is free, but those planning to take part are asked to register.
