Hatch-A-Thon Announced For Fairhope

Hatch, a Fairhope-based technology village and entrepreneurial support hub with a goal to support and grow the technology-based entrepreneurial ecosystem in the region, has announced Hatch-a-Thon, a technology event it calls “our region’s first business-problem-driven innovation experience.” Participants will have two full weeks to build solutions to real business challenges. The winning team will receive $2,500 to continue developing its solution and potentially partner with local businesses. There are four ways to be a part of the event: register as a participant, submit a business problem you need solved, become a sponsor and attend the events. These include Kickoff Night on July 24 and Demo Night on August 7. They will take place at 314 Magnolia Avenue in Fairhope. The build phase for participants is July 24-August 7. The deadline to register is July 23.
