Hatch-A-Thon Succeeds, Next One Announced

The inaugural Hatch-a-Thon brought together 23 teams—including three high school teams—to solve real business challenges over two weeks. The concluding event on August 7 was a standing-room-only “Demo Night” with more than 150 attendees. It ended in a signed business contract between a challenge sponsor and a development team within 24 hours of the event. According to organizer Hatch, several more are in negotiation. Additionally, Hatch announced the next Hatch-a-Thon for January 15-29, 2026.
