Hatch Program Completes, Podcast Live

Hatch, a Fairhope-based technology village and entrepreneurial support hub with a goal to support and grow the technology-based entrepreneurial ecosystem in the region, has announced the successful completion of its first cohort in the Powered by Bessel accelerator program. The program culminated with a showcase on August 22, when eight tech startups had the opportunity to pitch their companies to potential investors and community stakeholders to receive equity-based funding. Several have already secured funding, advanced to the commercial development stages and signed distribution and exclusive licensing deals to introduce their devices to the market this year. Additionally, the first episode of the Hatch Podcast is live. Featuring Chris Danek, founder of Bessel, it explores medical innovation and startups, the accelerator program, insights into medical technology and innovation, the future of healthcare and more.
