Innovation Portal Announces $20,000 Pitch Competition

Innovation Portal in Mobile is celebrating its 10th anniversary this fall, and a $20,000 pitch competition will be added to this year’s Fall Programs Showcase. The competition, giving founders the chance to compete for nondilutive funding, will take place on November 19 in Mobile. Thanks to grant support from the Women’s Foundation of Alabama, the competition includes a $10,000 grand prize, with another $10,000 split among the second- and third-place winners and a People’s Choice Award. The deadline to apply for the pitch competition is September 28.
