Innovation Portal TechAcademy Announcements

Innovation Portal and the Regions Foundation, a nonprofit primarily funded by Regions Bank, have announced that five Mobile-area entrepreneurs will be selected by Innovation Portal for up to $5,000 in direct technology funding to help expedite the growth of their business ventures. Additionally, the foundation presented Innovation Portal with a $50,000 grant to support its TechAcademy program. Its latest cohort is accepting applications through August 18. The free program will provide the selected entrepreneurs with an eight-week course designed to help their companies grow through direct support and give them three months of Innovation Portal community membership. TechAcademy focuses on how underrepresented entrepreneurs can address technology-related challenges through and leverage technology for business growth.
