Baldwin County Intern Program Launched
The Eastern Shore Chamber Foundation, in collaboration with Innovate Alabama, AIDT and the Baldwin County School System, has launched the Eastern Shore Bridge program. This initiative aims to bridge the gap between education and career by providing students with hands-on industry experience. It offers paid internships designed to equip students with valuable skills and industry exposure that can set them apart as they enter the workforce. Interns will receive $15 per hour while gaining real-world experience in high-demand sectors like manufacturing, healthcare, technology and small business. There will also be exclusive maritime training, workplace readiness training, personalized mentorship, and networking and future job opportunities. The registration deadlines are April 11 for interns and June 1 for employers. Interns will begin in August or September.
