Bowling For Books Announced For Spanish Fort

The Eastern Shore Chamber of Commerce Young Professionals group is holding “Bowling for Books” on November 13 at 5:30-8:30 p.m. at Eastern Shore Lanes in Spanish Fort. The annual event raises money for the Spanish Fort Public Library summer reading program. Members may cheer for their favorite teams, and raffle prizes will be available. Bowling team entries can be purchased for $300 per team of four or five players. This includes shoes, 2 hours of bowling, a pizza and a pitcher of soda. If teams do not sell out, there will be an opportunity to bowl on a lane for $20. A $5 donation is asked of nonplayers.
