Bowling For Books Announced For Spanish Fort

SPANISH FORT, Ala. — The Eastern Shore Chamber of Commerce Young Professionals are holding “Bowling for Books” on April 21 at 5:30-7:30 p.m. at Eastern Shore Lanes in Spanish Fort. They hope the new event, which will raise money for the Spanish Fort Public Library summer reading program, will be annual. Admission is $200 per team (five per team) or $40 per person. Team admission includes shoes, one pizza, a pitcher of soda and five $5 vouchers for the arcade. Individual entrants will be placed on random teams of five. There will be a donation fee of $5 for those not bowling. Raffle tickets will also be available at one for $5 or five for $20.
