Coastal Tailgate Cook-Off Challenge Set For August 22

The Coastal Alabama Business Chamber (CABC) is holding the fourth annual Coastal Tailgate Cook-Off Challenge at The Marina Lawn at The Wharf in Orange Beach on August 22 from 12-3 p.m. Attendees will have the opportunity to sample a variety of foods, featuring bacon in a tailgating atmosphere. Tailgating teams will be competing for a golden ticket to the World Food Championships taking place in October in Indianapolis. Attendees will vote on a People’s Choice Award, with the winning team receiving a trophy and prize package. The best-dressed fan will also receive an award, and there will be live music and games. The entry fee to take part in the challenge is $100. It is open to amateurs and professionals of all ages who can compete either as individuals or as a team. Admission with a pack of 10 sampling tickets is $20, and additional tickets are available for purchase. Sponsorships are available by contacting CABC’s Kimberly Ray at email.
