Dauphin Island Chamber Plans Art Trail

The Dauphin Island Chamber of Commerce is holding the 11th Annual Dauphin Island Art Trail on Dauphin Island on October 11 at 9 a.m.-4 p.m. A “Treasure Hunt” will be held to entice patrons to visit all the booths. This year, instead of artists being at 10-11 different business locations, all artists and craftspeople will be inside Cadillac Square Park. Juried artists will be in categorical areas based on their medium, and the crafts section will be adjacent. Each categorical area will have someone stamping patrons’ maps, making them eligible for prize drawings at the end of the day. In addition to patrons’ prizes, there will be three awards ($500, $200 and $100) given to selected juried artists.
