MABCC Hires, Adds Members and Plans Reception

The Mobile Area Black Chamber of Commerce (MABCC) has hired Kiara Burks as its administrative assistant. Burks “arrives with a plethora of experience and diverse skill sets which we believe will propel the MABCC through the remainder of the year,” the chamber said. During its latest general body meeting, several new members were inducted: Evonik Corp., Queens Dynasty Corp., Bay Business News and the Boys & Girls Clubs of South Alabama. Finally, MABCC announced a joint board reception between it and the Mobile Area Chamber of Commerce on April 20 at 5 p.m. at the Mobile chamber’s offices. MABCC hopes the event will help the organizations learn more about each other and formulate ways to partner on future endeavors.
