Mobile Chamber Eagle Awards Deadline Coming Up

The Mobile Chamber has announced the closing of its application process for the 25th Eagle Awards is July 31. Local minority-owned businesses will be recognized for their achievements and contributions to the community and local economy. An independent selection committee will choose two companies to be honored at the chamber’s Eagle Awards Luncheon and Ceremony on October 27. Winners will also be featured in the Business View weekly email newsletter, Business View blog, social media and chamber lobby monitors; featured on the chamber’s Eagle Awards webpage banner; and be encouraged to apply for the Small Business of the Year, if eligible. Criteria include having been in business at least three years; having 100 or fewer employees; having a solid financial base; having growth and/or a new product line; being considered successful by peers; being active in community service; being a privately-owned, for-profit entity; and being headquartered in Mobile, Baldwin or Washington counties.
