Mobile Chamber: Impact LeadHERship 360°, Minority Outreach Announced

MOBILE, Ala. — The Mobile Chamber will host Impact LeadHERship 360°, a program designed for ambitious female CEOs, executives and business owners “who want to expand their leadership effectiveness and improve the health, culture and operations to ensure the success of their organization,” the chamber said. The interactive program is limited to 20 participants and offers lessons that may be applied immediately following each session. They are presented by Dr. Valerie D.W. James, principal at the Solutions Maximizing Brilliance School of Leadership at Innovation Portal in Mobile. Applications are due July 15, and interviews will be held on July 21.“Let’s Change the Game,” an outreach session with the MVP Team, Caddell Construction and HPM, will be held on July 19 at 5-6:30 p.m. at the Mobile Chamber at 451 Government Street. It will include information about the Alabama Minority Vendor Program and doing business with the State of Alabama. Eligible businesses registered with MVP will receive guidance to compete for public construction, goods and professional service contracts. The program is designed to provide ongoing support to nurture the growth and success of Alabama’s minority businesses.
