Mobile Chamber Publishes Annual Report

The Mobile Area Chamber of Commerce’s 2020 annual report was released on January 29. Highlights include economic development announcements, the chamber’s success in hosting 35 events to connect elected officials with the business community, 42 small-business-focused workshops and the chamber’s COVID-19 response. Covering four focus areas – jobs, advocacy, value and excellence – the report recaps the 10 economic development projects it reported on last year (eight of which are at established area companies) accounting for $942 million in capital investment and the creation of 699 new jobs. The 30-page document also details the chamber’s legislative efforts, 36 COVID-19-related conference calls and more.
