Mobile Chamber State Of The Economy Awards Details

The deadline for applications for the Mobile Chamber’s State of the Economy Awards is October 11. The chamber says that, for almost a decade, the Manufacturer of the Year award has been a hallmark of excellence in the business community of Mobile County. This award celebrates a manufacturing business’s dedication, contributions and outstanding achievements in promoting economic growth for Mobile. Winners are chosen based on their exceptional performance in several key areas, including operating excellence, continuous improvement, profitable growth, and investment in training and retraining talent. The Innovator of the Year award is presented to a business committed to innovation and dedication to positively impacting Mobile’s economic growth. This award celebrates innovative products, technology, processes or services created by a business that promotes economic growth in Mobile. Evaluations are based on the degree of innovation, creativity and impact of the businesses’ product, technology, process or service on the community. Both awards will be announced at the 10th Annual State of the Economy on November 20 at 8-10 a.m. at the Saenger Theatre Mobile.
