Mobile Chamber State Of The Economy Set For December 12

The Mobile Chamber andBankPlus are hosting the 9th Annual State of the Economy event on December 12 at 8-10 a.m. at Saenger Theatre Mobile. Themed "Growing Together: Uniting Mobile’s Economy and Workforce," the event will spotlight Mobile’s recent economic growth and collaborative efforts. Keynote speaker Greg Canfield, Alabama secretary of commerce, will share insights on uniting the economy and workforce. The event includes a panel discussion with local workforce specialists that will explore strategies, trends and challenges. It will be moderated by Bradley Byrne, Mobile Chamber CEO and president. Awards for the chamber’s Manufacturer of the Year and Innovator of the Year will be presented to recognize impactful organizations, and the results of its Mobile Area Annual Economic Survey will be unveiled.
