Nominations Open For State Of The Economy Awards

The Mobile Chamber and BankPlus are accepting nominations for their 2023 State of the Economy Awards through September 8. Outstanding businesses that have significantly impacted Mobile through excellence, innovation and contributions to its economic growth will be considered. The nominee must be a member of the chamber, have a location or actively do business in the Mobile area and not have won the award in the last three years. Self-nominations are allowed. The first of the two awards is “Manufacturer of the Year,” which celebrates a manufacturing business’ dedication, contributions and outstanding achievements in promoting economic growth for Mobile. The second award is “Innovator of the Year,” presented to a business committed to innovation and dedication to positively impacting Mobile’s economic growth.
