North Baldwin Chamber Adds Marketing, Communications Coordinator

The North Baldwin Chamber of Commerce has hired Leila Powell as part-time marketing and digital communications coordinator. A graduate of Baldwin Preparatory Academy, she specialized in the Advertising Design program, where she developed a foundation in graphic design, branding, photography and visual communication. “Her keen attention to detail and love for thoughtful design naturally led her to pursue a career in marketing and digital communications, where she enjoys creating engaging content that highlights people, businesses and the community,” the chamber said. During her senior year, she earned a gold medal at the Alabama SkillsUSA Championships as part of a collaborative competition that combined skilled trades with creative design. Contributing her advertising design expertise to the team’s project, she advanced to represent Alabama at the National SkillsUSA Championships. Powell also owns a small commissioned art business specializing in realistic pet portraits.
