North Baldwin Chamber Cook-Off Is Today

BAY MINETTE, Ala. — The North Baldwin Chamber of Commerce is holding its annual Crawfish Cook-Off at Blackburn Park in Downtown Bay Minette today, beginning at 5:30 p.m. The family-friendly event includes a crawfish cooking competition, Fairhope Brewing Co. and Bud-Busch Distributing beer on tap, live music by Sugarcane Jane and kids’ activities. Fifteen teams cooking more than 1,000 lb. of crawfish will compete for several titles, including first through third place overall, “Crowd Favorite,” “Spiciest Boil,” “Best Add-In/Side” and “Most Team Spirit.” Tickets are $25 for those older than 10 and $10 for children 10 and under, and those under 5 get in free. They include all-you-can-sample crawfish or a barbecue sandwich and side, cobbler from Street’s, and a drink.
