SWMCC Car Show, BBQ Cook-Off Coming Up

The Southwest Mobile County Chamber of Commerce (SWMCC) is holding the Roll’n Smoke Car Show and BBQ Cook-Off on September 11 at 9 a.m.-2 p.m at the Tillman’s Corner Community Center. Cars and trucks of all ages will be allowed to participate for a fee of $25 each by September 8 and $30 each afterward. A 9/11 memorial event will be held at 10 a.m., and barbecue serving begins at 11 a.m. The entry fee of $10 per person includes a wristband and five voting tickets for each event. Votes are cut off 1 p.m., and winners are announced at 1:45 p.m.
