SWMCC Gala Registration Opens

The Southwest Mobile County Chamber of Commerce (SWMCC) is holding its Annual Award Gala on January 20 at 6:30-8:30 p.m. at the SWMCC office at 5055 Carol Plantation Road in Mobile. Awards for “Impact of the Year,” “Teacher of the Year,” “Citizen of the Year” and “Volunteer of the Year” will be presented. The awards will be based on the nominees’ achievements in 2022, as well as their past achievements and ongoing contribution to the community. Making the community a better place, involvement with local charity/nonprofit projects, making safety and environmental issues a priority, maintaining excellent employment history, and having employee quality and longevity are all qualifiers. Tickets are $30, and attire is formal.
