SWMCC Kid’s Day Set For July

The Southwest Mobile County Chamber of Commerce (SWMCC) has announced its 2023 Kid’s Day Event for July 29 at 9 a.m.-1 p.m. at the Tillman’s Corner Community Center at 5055 Carol Plantation Road. It will feature games, free school uniforms, free school supplies, a petting zoo, vendors and a “beach ball drop” at noon. SWMCC also says Mobile’s largest ice cream sundae will be built. Donations of school supplies are also requested to help fill as many backpacks as possible. These will be given to children during the event.
