SWMCC Sporting Clay Shoot Set For September 19

The Southwest Mobile County Chamber of Commerce (SWMCC) is holding its third annual Sporting Clay Shoot on September 19 at Taylor Creek Sporting Clays at 11910 Old Windsor Road in Theodore. Registration will begin at 8 a.m., and the shoot will begin at 9:30 a.m., with lunch and awards afterward. Trophies will be given to first- and second-place teams, plus “Best Individual Shooter.” Registration is $100 per person, and mulligans are one for $5 and five for $20. Participants may enter a four-person team to compete or to sponsor the event. Those planning to participate are encouraged to pre-register, as there will be a limit of 20 teams. Proceeds will benefit the SWMCC Foundation, which provides scholarships for its T.A.L.L. Scholarship Program. This eight-month program offers local high school seniors experience including meeting business leaders, engaging in SWMCC events, visiting local industries and connecting with elected officials.
