Young Professionals Group Launched In Mobile

MOBILE, Ala. — The Mobile Area Chamber of Commerce and Visit Mobile have partnered to launch the Young Professionals of Mobile (YP MOB) group, which aims to engage, connect and empower area youth by helping them “find the skills and opportunities they need to create success here, instead of somewhere else,” Mobile Mayor Sandy Stimpson said. The group held a launch party at The Steeple on St. Francis on February 10 and thanked all involved for the “phenomenal turnout.” Its next event is a YP MOB Lunch and Learn to be held at the Innovation Portal on March 3 at 11:30 a.m. The purpose of the event is to network and learn about professional development opportunities in Mobile.
