BGCSA Begins Search For New CEO

MOBILE, Ala. — Tim Wills has announced his resignation as CEO of Mobile-based Boys & Girls Clubs of South Alabama (BGCSA), effective in March 2022. Wills will be joining the national leadership team at MENTOR, another nonprofit, headquartered in Boston. BGCSA Board Chairman Todd Denison said Wills transformed the organization into the community’s premier youth service organization during his six years in Mobile, while also serving on numerous local task forces and committees concerned with improving the lives of local youth. The BGCSA Board of Directors has begun appointing a search committee to conduct a nationwide search for a successor. Denison expects the transition process to be untroubled, and Wills said he remains “committed to ensuring a smooth transition to the next CEO.”
