Big Brothers Big Sisters Partners With Eastern Shore Chamber

Big Brothers Big Sisters of the Central Gulf Coast (BBBSCGC) and the Eastern Shore Chamber of Commerce Foundation’s Student Training and Exploration Program (STEP) are joining missions to serve Eastern Shore students by providing one-to-one, professionally supported mentorship with access to career pathways exploration. During the 2024-2025 school year, BBBSCGC will help the chamber enhance STEP by mentoring enrolled students. BBBSCGC will provide pre-match interviews and training, as well as the initial match meetings and post-program support through relevant evidence-based surveys. Students and mentors will participate in monthly activities provided by the chamber between November 2024 and April 2025. This deal follows the nonprofit’s recent partnership with Infirmary Health’s Thomas Hospital in Baldwin County.
