Foley Kiwanis Club Hosting Chili Cook-Off

The Foley Kiwanis Club has announced the inaugural Foley Kiwanis Chili Cook-Off for February 15 at 9 a.m.-4 p.m. at Foley Heritage Park. The family-friendly event is a fundraiser for the Foley Kiwanis Foundation Scholarship Fund. Local chefs, home cooks and chili enthusiasts will compete to showcase their best chili recipes. Attendees will have the chance to sample various chili flavors, from mild and savory to bold and fiery. A panel of judges will crown winners, and the public may cast votes for the People’s Choice Award. There will also be live music, local vendors, a children’s zone with activities and more. Admission is $10, and children 10 and under may enter for free.
