Impact 100 Baldwin County Announces Grant Finalists

Impact 100 Baldwin County has named 10 finalists in its 16th year of grant giving. The organizations and projects are Baldwin Pops, Inc. for “Funding the Beginning of Music…1,2,3”; Girl Scouts of Southern Alabama for “Outdoor Adventure Park at Camp Sid Edmonds”; Mobile Baykeeper, Inc. for “Oyster Garden Project”; The Nature Conservancy in Alabama for “Coastal Tech Technology & Signage to Protect Baldwin County”; Baldwin County Education Coalition, Inc. for “Expansion of Palm Project”; SHORT the Squirrel for “Expansion of SHORT the Squirrel to Baldwin County”; Family Promise of Baldwin County for “The Barn”; Youth-Reach Gulf Coast for “Equipment to Empower”; Prodisee Pantry, Inc. for “Cultivating Healthy Options in a Food Desert”; and the Jennifer Claire Moore Foundation for “Mental Health Supports for Collegiate and Working Adults.” The finalists were selected from applications reviewed by Impact 100 Baldwin County’s focus groups in each category. The finalists from each focus area will present their unique projects to Impact 100 members at the group’s annual meeting on November 2 at the Daphne Civic Center. The members will vote, and five winning organizations will receive $105,000 each. Winners will be announced that night, which will also see the kickoff of the organization’s 2024 membership drive.
