New Safety Facilities Director for Boys & Girls Clubs

The Boys & Girls Clubs of South Alabama has announced Chilton County native Sherri Mims as its new safety and facilities director. Mims, whose goal is “to have a positive impact on the youth in our community,” is responsible for ensuring child safety and sustaining facility safety in the organization. In addition to meeting with branch directors about potential problems and solutions, she researches ways to ensure safety and health and, according to the clubs, “practices and utilizes a variety of safety procedures that are critical in protecting our youth and staff.”
