Prodisee Pantry Holding Meetings For North Baldwin County Facility

Prodisee Pantry is holding a series of town hall meetings this month to gather community input and support as its board explores placing a permanent location in North Baldwin County to better serve communities there. The nonprofit emergency food pantry says 43% of all the families that visit it for food and connections to other services are from the northern part of the county. Its current location is in Spanish Fort, and since 2011, it has hosted satellite food distribution in Vaughn and/or Stockton. In 2020, “Second Saturday Stockton” food distributions became monthly and have grown from 50 to 150 families. One town hall meeting has already been held in Stockton, and future ones will be at Bay Assembly Church in Bay Minette on September 18 at 6 p.m., at First Baptist Church in Bay Minette on September 21 at 3 p.m., at Fresh Revelation Church in Stockton on September 24 at 6 p.m., and at the Bay Minette City Council Chambers on September 30 at 6 p.m.
