Zoo Summer Camp Registration Ends Today

The Alabama Gulf Coast Zoo in Gulf Shores is closing registration today at 5 p.m. for its summer camp featuring six week-long sessions from June 10 to July 26, excepting the week of July 4, Mullet Wrapper reports. Day camp is available for children from kindergarten through sixth grade. Grade levels are listed as rising (i.e., the grade the camper will be entering this fall). Camp hours are 8:30 a.m.-3:30 p.m., and extended childcare is available between 7:30 a.m. and 5:30 p.m. The cost is $225 per session, and there is a $25 discount for zoo members. Registration includes camp attendance, two camp T-shirts, a water bottle and a daily snack. Campers are asked to bring their own lunches. They will learn about animal life, have up-close and hands-on experiences, and create take-home crafts. For more information contact the school at phone: (251) 256-7008 or email.
