ADCNR MRD Plans Shrimp Fishery Management Listening Sessions

 The Marine Resources Division (MRD) of the Alabama Department of Conservation and Natural Resources (ADCNR) has planned listening sessions to gather feedback about a new shrimp fishery management plan in development by MRD. The public is encouraged to attend sessions on November 12 at the Bayou La Batre Community Center at 12745 Padgett Switch Road in Bayou La Batre and on November 13 at the Gulf Shores Activity Center at 260 Clubhouse Drive in Gulf Shores. Both sessions are at 12-4:30 p.m. Proposed goals and objectives will be presented by MRD staff. Attendees are invited to comment on the proposals and suggest additional goals and objectives for inclusion in the plan. Multiple public comment periods will be held during each session.
