Alabama Coastal Foundation (ACF) Hires Coordinator

Kristine Alford has been named coastal relations coordinator for ACF. Most recently ACF’s summer and fall intern, she officially joins ACF in her new role to help improve and protect the local coastal environment. Alford is an advertising consultant, social media creator and writer for the Portico Eastern Shore magazine and serves as a group fitness/personal training graduate assistant at the University of South Alabama Recreation Center. She previously worked as an 8th grade science educator at Booker T. Washington Middle School and tour writer/manager for Gulf Coast Ducks Tours in Mobile. She graduated from the University of South Alabama with a BS in biology/biological sciences in 2018 and is pursuing her MS in marine conservation and resource management.
