DISL Reopens Alabama Aquarium

The Dauphin Island Sea Lab (DISL) has announced that renovations are complete on its Alabama Aquarium and that it is now open. The attraction, which first opened in March 1998, has an improved visitor experience, refreshed interior and DISL said, “a deeper connection to the research led by DISL faculty and students.” Visitors may purchase tickets, which are $14 for adults, $6 for children and $12 for seniors, online or at the door. The aquarium is open daily from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., and visitors are encouraged to book their tickets in advance to avoid waiting in line.
