Good Life Bike Ride Announced For May

Registration and sponsorships are open for Alabama Coastal Foundation’s 16th Annual Good Life Bicycle Ride. The scenic ride through the backcountry trails of Gulf State Park in Gulf Shores is taking place on May 10. This year, there are two route options—9 and 17 mi.—through the trails, which were voted No. 1 Recreational Trail by USA Today last year. The 17-mi. ride will begin at 8:47 a.m. after a safety briefing, and the 9-mi. ride will start at 9:09 a.m. Riders may stop at the Nature Center. Tickets are $45 for a ride entry and $30 for the post-ride lunch at Woodside Restaurant. Sponsorships are open through March 27 at noon. Funds raised will go toward raising awareness for bicycle safety.
