Living Shoreline Workshop Coming To Fairhope

The Alabama Department of Conservation and Natural Resources State Lands Division – Weeks Bay National Estuarine Research Reserve in partnership with the Mississippi State University Extension Service is holding a living shoreline workshop for property owners on July 1 from 6-7 p.m. at the Weeks Bay Reserve Resource Center in Fairhope. It will teach on the benefits of living shorelines and potential property solutions. The free workshop is for waterfront property owners, but others are welcome to attend. Light refreshments will be provided. There will be a brief presentation by the Mississippi State University Extension Service followed by individual consultations about specific properties with living shoreline professionals.
