Meeting On Dauphin Island Beach Renourishment Scheduled

The Alabama Department of Conservation and Natural Resources (ADCNR) and Alabama Department of Environmental Management (ADEM) have invited the public to a joint informational meeting on March 6 at 6 p.m at the Dauphin Island Community Center. The topic is the proposed West End Beach Renourishment Project on Dauphin Island. The public is encouraged to attend and provide comments relevant to the pending application, a copy of which may be reviewed Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Dauphin Island Town Hall, ADEM’s Coastal Office at 1615 South Broad Street in Mobile and ADCNR’s State Lands Division Coastal Office at 31115 Five Rivers Boulevard in Spanish Fort.
