Outdoor Recreation, Prescribed Fires Focus Groups Announced

The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration’s National Centers for Coastal Ocean Science (NCCOS) is seeking volunteers to share thoughts about outdoor recreation and prescribed fires in coastal Alabama. NCCOS is looking for volunteers to participate in a focus group, in which they will have the opportunity to voice their opinions and contribute to the development of the survey. Focus groups will be held on November 28 at 10 a.m. and 5:30 p.m. in Fairhope, on November 28 at 10:30 a.m. in Gulf Shores, and on November 30 at 10 a.m. and 5:30 p.m. in Spanish Fort. Those interested in participating should email NCCOS today with their contact information and preferred location and time.
