PEP Announces Officers

Partners for Environmental Progress (PEP) has announced the newest officers of its board of directors. Coming from engineering, environmental safety and industrial sales, the new officers include President Allen Simpson, division operations leader at Hargrove Engineers & Constructors; Vice President Michael “Gene” Rader, safety, health and environmental manager at High Purity Silicon America Corp.; Secretary/Treasurer Carmen Pino, senior vice president of sales at Outokumpu Stainless USA; and Past President Steve Stewart, national director of sustainability at SCS Engineers. Each will serve a term of one year. The PEP board has 28 members representing the 200-plus member companies committed to promoting economic prosperity and environmental sustainability in the area.
