SALT Membership Drive Coming To Fairhope Brewing

The South Alabama Land Trust (SALT) will host a free membership drive at Fairhope Brewing Co. at 914 Nichols Avenue in Fairhope on October 21 from 5-7 p.m. Each person who joins SALT at the event will receive perks including SALT swag and a chance to win door prizes. The Pirate’s Pit BBQ food truck will be offering wings, burgers, pulled pork and brisket. There will also be live music by Amanda Donald and Karl Langley. SALT President Paul Marcinko said, “Our mission is growing more important each day. Baldwin County’s shocking 2.3% population growth rate is over 4 times the statewide average, and Mobile County’s GDP increased more than $2 billion since 2022. Everyone likes a strong economy, but with every acre of forest that is destroyed and wetland that is filled, we’re losing vital habitats. Come out and have some fun and join our mission to protect land before it’s gone forever.”
