SALT Plans Habitat At Home Lecture

The South Alabama Land Trust (SALT) is holding Habitat at Home at Dahlgren Hall at Coastal Alabama Community College on March 2 at 5:30-6:30 p.m. Botanist, wildlife biologist and native plant gardening expert Gena Todia will present on creating habitat and supporting native species where attendees live. Todia will explore simple, practical ways to turn yards, patios and even shared spaces into thriving native habitats. Attendees will learn why native plants matter, how to get started and how small changes can add up to meaningful conservation impact across our region. The event is free, and snacks will be provided.
