SWIM Monitor Program Returning September 11

Mobile Baykeeper has announced that its SWIM Monitor Program is returning and still looking for volunteers. Beginning September 11, volunteers will again be collecting water samples from public swimming areas across coastal Alabama. Reports are published every Friday from April through September and monthly throughout the rest of the year, helping swimmers make informed decisions before entering the water. “The return of SWIM was made possible by the support of local businesses, volunteers, community partners and Baykeeper members. It’s another reminder of what’s possible when our community comes together because healthy water matters,” Mobile Baykeeper said. It is still looking for volunteers.
